The Nature Buddies was born from a simple idea — to inspire children to fall in love with reading while discovering the beauty of the natural world. Created by father-daughter duo Ryan & Navy Walker-Smith, the series combines playful rhymes, engaging facts, and vibrant illustrations that make story time both fun and meaningful.
What started as bedtime stories soon grew into a collection of books that parents, teachers, and children cherish. Each book introduces friendly characters, real-life lessons, and a world of curiosity that sparks imagination in young readers.

Ryan is a passionate educator and storyteller who believes that books have the power to shape young minds. With years of experience guiding children through learning, he wanted to create stories that not only entertain but also leave kids with something meaningful to take away.
Navy, his daughter, is the spark of creativity in the partnership. Her boundless imagination, love for animals, and curious questions about the world inspired many of the characters in The Nature Buddies. She ensures every story feels magical, fun, and true to how kids see the world.
Together, they balance knowledge with imagination — Ryan grounding the stories with learning, and Navy breathing in the sense of wonder that makes the books unforgettable.
